Call for Submissions: Issue 3

We have opened submissions for Issue 3 of Max Blood’s Mausoleum, due out September 1, 2024. Please see Submissions for our submission guidelines and a link to our submission manager.

Submissions for Issues 1 and 2 have both closed. A special thanks goes out to all the brilliant writers who submitted to those issues. We read so many wonderful, engaging stories–it was difficult to pick just ten. Any remaining submissions that we have yet to respond to will be considered for Issue 3. Thank you for your patience.

When he’s not homeschooling and parenting, Max Blood spends his days spinning horror tales for online audiences. He specializes in the weird, the cosmic, and the monstrous. With a passion for turning cryptid stories into positively horrific monsters, he has created many tales of monster horror. He has also dabbled in ghost stories and body horror.

He currently lives in Bakersfield, California where he writes his novels and short stories, and in 2023, he launched Max Blood’s Mausoleum, a magazine of original horror stories.
